You may be wondering how exactly you paint with Q-tips. Who would’ve thought you could use a bathroom hygiene item to paint with? It is really simple and creative. First, you will need to gather up your supplies.
First, make sure you have thick paper like card stock or multi media paper. We like to put our paint in a small glass sauce bowl or plastic palettes. Washable paint like Tempura paint used for finger painting is the best paint to use for this type of project.
Next, lay your supplies out and let your little ones begin experimenting by dipping, dabbing and spreading their paint onto paper. You can use plain paper, or printable templates that your children can practice filling in the dots with.
